DIGICUT is the First advertising agency to be listed in Ghana – Richmond Lamptey
Digicut Production and Advertising Limited is poised to become an international company as it expands its branches across African countries.
General Manager of Digicut, Richmond Lankwei Lamptey says his outfit will reverse the trend where people travel outside Ghana to train in modern advertising techniques and skills.
According to him, Digicut has been registered as an advertising agency in Liberia.
Mr. Lamptey made this know when he delivered a speech at the official listing of Digicut on the Ghana Alternative Stock Exchange.
“The process that started somewhere in 2017 is coming to fruition right before our very eyes today. On March 1st this year, we launched this IPO at the coconut Grove Regency hotel. One month and ten days after, the history we have been looking forward to making is happening.” He added
“For those of us who are here, it is a moment to relish because one day, we will say, just as students leaving high school write on their desks and any available space they find, ‘I was there some’.” He added.
According to Mr. Richmond Lankwei Lamptey, the listing of Digicut onto the Ghana Alternative Stock (GAX), will be embedded into history. He added that Digicut is the first advertising agency to be listed in Ghana.
“The history is embedded in the fact that Digicut will forever be known as the first advertising agency to be listed in Ghana. It will also have the added icing on birthing the many Groupe Nduom companies that will later be listed, based on what president and Chairman of Groupe Nduom, Papa Kwesi Nduom said when we launched the IPO.” He added.
