Your vigilante groups are part of the armed robbers – Agalga tells NPP

Minority in parliament has alleged that members of Pro-NPP vigilante groups could be the people behind the recent armed robbery attacks in the country. This week alone has seen a number of robbery incidents in the Accra, and other parts of the country.

According to the minority spokesperson on security, James Agalga,  mercenaries from South Africa who were brought into the country by the New Patriotic Party in the run up to the 2016 general elections, trained some members of the Pro-NPP vigilante groups.

Addressing a press conference today in Accra, Mr. Agalga says people who were trained during the time, are likely to engage themselves in illegal acts if they remain inactive in a while.

“There’s a principle in life which is that when you nature a monster, it will devour you. We have alluded to the fact that some members of the vigilante groups have been trained by mercenaries who were brought into this country in the run up to the 2016 general elections, came back into this country and took part in the training of some of those elements” he added.
