Qavah (the waiting) – Press Release

Qavah is an annual event that brings people from diverse backgrounds, nations, and denominations together to worship and receive from the Lord. Its aim is to revive, renew, refresh, and empower individuals to take on their Kingdom assignments with enthusiasm.

The name Qavah is derived from a Hebrew word meaning “to gather together in expectation, waiting patiently, hoping for, and expecting”. This word expresses the optimism and hope that come from waiting on the Lord. The name is also inspired by a biblical reference to Isaiah 40:31.

But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, not faint.” Bible tells us, “He giveth power to the faint; and to them that have no might he increases strength.”

In this event, we seek God in an atmosphere of worship and waiting, believing that He will give us the strength to carry on with our various assignments and callings. Our desire is that as many people as possible will come and encounter God, receive from Him and be transformed by Him at Qavah.

Sarah Sings is the visionary, convener, and host of Qavah. She is a minister of God who desires to inspire the world to worship God, be lifted, healed, and filled with His Glory through her music. Sarah pours her heart and soul into all her songs with the hope of bringing encouragement, hope, joy, and faith to everyone who listens to her music and experiences her ministry. Together with other ministers appointed for this assignment, Sarah hopes to empower many to rise up and fulfill their God-given assignments.

The first edition of “QAVAH – The Waiting” will take place on September 23rd, 2023, in Delaware, USA. Further details will be available soon.
